PBJ does not contact or dispatch emergency services. It only notifies the contacts you choose.

The Service is designed to help you notify designated emergency contacts in case of an emergency. It is intended to supplement, not replace, traditional emergency services.

Description of Service

PBJ is a personal safety application that allows users to:

• Trigger emergency alerts to notify designated contacts
• Share location information with designated contacts during an alert
• Receive notifications when contacts you are monitoring trigger alerts
• Use Apple Watch integration and fall detection features (where supported)

No Guarantee of Emergency Response

You acknowledge and agree that:

• We cannot guarantee that your emergency contacts will receive alerts
• Push notifications may be delayed, blocked, or fail
• We cannot guarantee contacts will respond in a timely manner
• Location data accuracy varies based on environmental factors
• The Service may be unavailable due to maintenance or technical issues

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any injury, death, property damage, or other harm that occurs during an emergency, regardless of whether the Service was used, failed to function, or functioned improperly.

User Responsibilities

By using the Service, you agree to:

• Keep your emergency contact list accurate and up-to-date
• Notify individuals you add as emergency contacts
• Maintain your devices in working condition
• Grant required permissions for the Service to function
• Have backup plans for contacting emergency services

Community Application

PBJ is intended to be a free application for community use. The developer is not obligated to provide support, maintenance, or updates.

Privacy

Your use of the Service is governed by our Privacy Policy. The Service collects and shares your precise location with designated emergency contacts when you trigger an alert.
